ABOUT THE EVENT

Night to Shine is an unforgettable night centered on God’s love for individuals with special needs (ages 14+). Honored guests enjoy a dance, red carpet entry with cheering paparazzi, hair/makeup, shoeshine, limo rides, dinner, dancing, karaoke, the Gospel message, and a crowning ceremony to know they are loved by God.  To attend as an honored guest, or volunteer, click the link at the bottom of this page. 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES (Ages 18+)

We need ~400volunteers to serve in key roles (training and background check required):

• • Guest Buddies: Accompany and celebrate with a guest all evening

  • Red Carpet & Paparazzi: Cheer on guests as they make their royal entrance

  • Hair, Makeup & Shoeshine: Provide pampering services before the grand entry

  • Food Services: Prepare and serve meals to guests and volunteers

  • Respite Event: Host parents and caregivers with a plated dinner & entertainment

  • Safety & Sensory: Assist with security, medical needs, and quiet rooms

We are seeking services, and supplies from local businesses and community partners:

• • Formal Wear: Suits, Ties, Dresses, Shoes, Crowns, Tiaras, and Accessories

  • Decor: Flowers, Balloons, Corsages, Boutonnieres, Crowns, Tiaras, Goodie Bags

  • Catering: Volunteer Meals, Honored Guest Meals, Snacks, and Beverages

  • Event Services: DJ, Photography, Videography, Photo Booths, and Limousines

TAX-DEDUCTIBLE FINANCIAL DONATIONS - need to raise $40,000

All monetary gifts are processed through HBC Wendell and are 100% tax-deductible. Sponsors will be acknowledged on social media, banners, and in programs respectively.

• • Royal Sponsor ($2,500+): Underwrites venue transformation and food costs

  • King & Queen Sponsor ($1,000): Funds crowns, tiaras, red carpet, and gift bags

  • Buddy Sponsor ($500): corsages, boutonnieres, and favors for guests

  • Community Partner ($100–$250): volunteer supplies, sensory room, games
