Ladies, it’s time for one of our favorite traditions! Join us for the 3rd Annual Christmas Coffee & Ornament Exchange at the home of Honey Wiggs in Zebulon, NC.
There’s just something special about gathering around a table with women, sharing good food, laughing until our sides hurt, and making memories together. We’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast with coffee and juice, plenty of Christmas cheer, and our always-fun White Elephant Ornament Exchange! Bring a wrapped ornament valued at $5 or less, and get ready to see who ends up with your gift. You never know what you might go home with!
This is more than breakfast and ornaments—it’s a chance to slow down, connect, and celebrate the gift of community during the Christmas season. A Night to Shine
ABOUT THE EVENT
Night to Shine is an unforgettable night centered on God’s love for individuals with special needs (ages 14+). Honored guests enjoy a dance, red carpet entry with cheering paparazzi, hair/makeup, shoeshine, limo rides, dinner, dancing, karaoke, the Gospel message, and a crowning ceremony to know they are loved by God. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES (Ages 18+)
We need ~400volunteers to serve in key roles (training and background check required):
Guest Buddies: Accompany and celebrate with a guest all evening
Red Carpet & Paparazzi: Cheer on guests as they make their royal entrance
Hair, Makeup & Shoeshine: Provide pampering services before the grand entry
Food Services: Prepare and serve meals to guests and volunteers
Respite Event: Host parents and caregivers with a plated dinner & entertainment
Safety & Sensory: Assist with security, medical needs, and quiet rooms

Our Dressing Esther Cruise Retreat sets sail to the Bahamas, March 19–24, 2027, aboard the Explorer of the Seas and I would LOVE for you to come with us! I’m especially excited to serve alongside an anointed, heart-led, Jesus-loving teaching team—and I can’t wait to introduce these beautiful women to you very soon!

Under His Wings Retreat
Ladies, it’s time to step away from the busyness of everyday life and make room for what matters most!
Sweeter Life Ministries is thrilled to invite you to our Third Annual Ladies’ Retreat, and we can’t wait to share this special weekend with you! This year, our theme is "Under His Wings" and we’ll gather at The Refuge, a beautiful waterfront lodge nestled along the Pungo River in eastern North Carolina. The retreat is Friday - Sunday, April 9-11, or you can come a day early to relax and unwind (April 8-11).
The Refuge is owned by Operation Resolute, a Christian ministry dedicated to serving military members, their families, and chaplains. The lodge was created to provide a place for rest, reconnection, and renewal, and we are excited to enjoy its peaceful setting for our time together.
Imagine peaceful water views, time to slow down, delicious food, meaningful conversations, laughter with sisters in Christ, and opportunities to rest and refresh your spirit. Whether you come with a friend or arrive ready to make new ones, this weekend is an opportunity to be encouraged, build lasting connections, and enjoy the gift of Christian sisterhood.
With over 6,000 square feet of space and over 100 private acres of land, The Refuge offers a wonderful backdrop for a weekend away. The house features a large living room with a fireplace, an expansive back deck overlooking the river, a boat dock, and six bedrooms (four beds per room - 2 bunk beds with double on bottom, single on top), each with its own private bathroom, providing plenty of room for ladies to settle in and enjoy the retreat together.
From peaceful moments by the water to conversations that linger long after a meal, we look forward to making sweet memories in this special place. Bring your Bible, your favorite comfortable clothes, and an open heart. Come ready to slow down, share a meal, enjoy the beauty of the river, and spend meaningful time with your sisters in Christ.

The Hive Outdoor Garden Party is back by popular demand! Join us for "Bloom and Belong" in the beautiful surroundings of Third Day Gardening in Zebulon, NC. Feel free to wear a spring dress/outfit with your favorite garden/derby hat or fascinator!
At this outdoor event, you will enjoy a catered dinner surrounded by lavish greenery, beautiful flowers, cafe lights, live music and new friends. We will also have some fun crafts for you to create and take home!

Carolina Mudcats
Join us for an evening of food, fellowship and fun at the Carolina Mudcats game on Friday night July 25th. Your registration will include a game ticket to join us in our own air conditioned private suite that has indoor and outdoor seating, free parking, food, softdrinks, a visit from Muddy the Mudcat, the best seats in the house, and fireworks after the game.
The gates open as early as 5:30pm and the game starts at 6:30pm. Food will be brought to the suite around 6:15pm. Our group will be announced and on the big screen at the top of the 6th inning! Fireworks usually start around 9pm.
This event is open to friends and family, but there are only 30 tickets available, so purchase tickets ASAP before they are gone.

In John 15: 4-5 Christ promises us if we abide in Him, He will abide in us and allow us to bear much fruit. Christ also gives us a warning that if we do not abide in Him, we can do nothing and will not bear fruit. Just as our phones need to be plugged in when running low on battery, so we need to be plugged into the Father when running low on spiritual and physical battery.
Join us for this true "retreat" away from the world to reconnect with the Father, the True Vine, and focus on the fruit He would have us to bear for not only the people in the world around us, but also His glory. When we learn to continually abide, we are promised that His joy is us and our joy is made complete (v11).
From the moment you turn into the driveway of this estate, you will feel the stress of the world begin to slip away and be positioned to enjoy the day abiding in God, celebrating community, and resting in relaxed moments for body, mind and spirit. The Assembly @9121 is an 8,000 sq. ft. home that includes several living rooms, dining spaces, 3 fire places, a coffee cafe, quiet nooks, a game room with pool table, movie room, several patios, 5 bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms! It is situated on 5 acres of beautiful lawn and has a 2 acre pond.

To make the most of this experience, bring along your sleeping bag or air mattress and stay overnight in this welcoming home. This is a perfect opportunity to relax, recharge, and immerse yourself in a supportive community. We really are looking forward to a super special "girls night" on Friday evening! Hive Member, Bonnie Dennis, is opening up her farm to us for a nature walk on Saturday morning, March 22nd. Fuzzy Faces Refuge is located on 70 acres in Clayton, NC. FFR provides a sanctuary where humans and endangered heritage breed farm animals can interact safely, by using therapeutic experiences that build confidence and enable positive progress. We provide these opportunities through our ever expanding programs for Special Needs Children and Adults, Veterans, First Responders, as well as Local Heroes and their Families. Come enjoy a cup of coffee, enjoy a walk with us, and then feel free to tour the refuge.

Outdoor Movie Night and Chili Cook-Off
Fee: $22.50 per person
Join us on Friday evening, November 1st, for a fun filled night under the stars (and edison lights) at Haven Farm in Knightdale, NC. We will be enjoying a large area at the back of the farm that includes a stable, pavilion, and fire pit area.
NOTE: This is the only event where spouses are welcome if you so choose!
For dinner, you will be able to sample, and vote on, a wide variety of Chili (including vegan) as well as indulge in a deluxe, hot, baked potato bar.
You will be able to enjoy a wonderful movie on the big screen complete with fresh popped popcorn, candy and a hot cocoa bar, all while cuddling up on our comfy sofas under cozy blankets.
Another opportunity for community will be around our bonfire where you can roast marshmallows and make s'mores. Please bring your favorite camping chair.
If being outside is not your thing, warm up in the stable where we will have games to play and enjoy conversation with one another!
This event will take place rain or shine (since we have the pavilion, stable and heaters) so invite your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and more!

Hive Gathering with Coffee and Conversation

Join hosts Lori Mattingly and Honey Wiggs for a morning of conversation, connection, and blessing. We will be donating $10 of every ticket sold to a local ministry called SEEN (Support, Encourage, Edify, Nurture). Breakfast will be served from 8:30am - 9am and the program will run from 9:00am - 11:00 am.
Our guest speaker is Honey Wiggs. Honey is an author, speaker, podcaster and ministry leader. She is the founder of Sweeter Life Ministries. The ministry cultivates authentic and genuine community among women to break down barriers which prevent life-giving relationships with each other and Christ. When we can be honestly transparent and fully present with each other it opens the doorway for us to be honestly transparent and fully present with Christ. Women who walk in powerful community, gather together in living rooms, eat around tables, with bibles open, praying for the cries and desires of each other’s heart, truly change the world.
Her online Facebook group of women is called, the Hive. As women of passion and purpose, how we live today is what will leave a legacy for tomorrow. When we walk relationally with Christ, design our family, cultivate community, disciple others, abundantly give and transform our body and mind, we will create massiveimpact in our world, not only for today, but also for years to come.
Hive Gathering with Coffee and Conversation

Join us for a Saturday morning Hive Gathering over coffee and breakfast at the Farmhouse Cafe in Wendell, NC. You will be able to order a custom coffee of any size from the barista at the counter (once you have your ticket) and then enjoy our homemade breakfast items made locally. We usually meet in the back of the cafe or on the back porch.
Our coffee gatherings are always a “come and go” type event and an opportunity to connect authentically with other women in The Hive. Please share, invite and bring friends.

Join us for a fun Hive get together on Saturday morning June 29th. Enjoy coffee, breakfast and fellowship with other Hive members. We will meet on the covered back porch of The Farmhouse Cafe in Wendell Falls from 9-11am. This event will take place rain or shine. Registration is now open!

Join us for a fun Hive get together on Saturday morning June 22nd. Enjoy coffee, breakfast and fellowship with other Hive members. We will meet in New Oxford, PA from 9-11am. This event will take place rain or shine. The event is free, but registration is required.
